Teaching the next generation the leadership and entrepreneurial skills to succeed
ABOUT KCEO
KCEO - Kandiyohi CEO is a year-long high school course designed to utilize local business experts that provide an overview of business development processes, essential life skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset that will lead to life success. The local business community partners with three area schools to create project-based experiences for students by providing funding, expertise, meeting space, business tours, and one-on-one mentoring. Students visit area businesses, learn from guest speakers, participate in three major class projects including the badge project, a class Gala event, and start up your own business with a Spring Trade Show. Business concepts learned through the KCEO class are critical to 21st century skills including problem solving, teamwork, self-motivation, project management, responsibility, communication, and a stick-to-it mentality are at the heart of student development throughout the course.
